I am an Electrical Engineer by Education born and raised in Damascus-Syria and have been working in the IT Industry in Dubai since I graduated.
Besides Technology, my career, I am very passionate about Physics, and this is the main link to F1. Formula 1 is based on Physics, Mechanical Engineering and Technology mainly. It is like a puzzle Teams needs to find the best solution for.
I have been following the sport for over 40 years now. I was very found of the drive to succeed and the passion with which Teams perform. This is not about money, there is a lot more to it. Winning a Grand Prix (a Race) is something that goes down in the history books. The drivers of all the teams are something of a legend wherever they go.
I was hooked and I have rarely missed a race since the start of the Satellite broadcast coverage started.
I was also very fortunate to be able to go see quite a few races in person. A lot of the pictures you see on this site are mine. I have been to Monaco race a few times, I have also been at the 04-04-04 Bahrain first ever Race and of course, I have been to the Abu Dhabi one quite a few times now.
I will do my best to share all the information I have with you, so you get to enjoy this fantastic sport.
Like everything in life, the sport keeps evolving and there are new things that need to be shared all the time.
F1 is the test bed for so many technologies that made it to our regular cars, to name a few Carbon Fiber, Paddle Shifters, Adaptive Suspension and Hybrid Engines to name a few.
I hope I will be able to get you closer to the sport and to help you see beyond a few cars going around a circuit.
